Are you having some trouble finding the model and spec numbers on your Craftsman rider or tractor? We're here to help you. Here are a couple of common locations that you can find this information.
Jan 01, 2017 I had a Sears labelled Winchester for a short while a few years ago, I don't remember if was a Model 54 or not. It was a Post-64 Model 94 with the main visible differences being the it had a clunky rifle style fore end cap instead of a barrel band, and the sights looked like they came from a cheap.22 instead of a centerfire rifle. Good info - Sears seem to be one of the easier ones to id, as long as you can find an ad to match up the numbers to. My rough Spyder I just got ( pic below, gold under the red spray bomb ). Has serial of 02790, all run together like that, no spaces like some I've seen. The engines with the craftsman model numbers were manufactured by the Tecumseh Product Company for Sears Roebuck and Company. Additionally, these engines can be identified by using a cross-reference chart for Craftsman engines.
